As an Event Services Staff, you'll be at the heart of creating memorable experiences by greeting guests with a smile, and ensuring they have a fantastic time. If you're passionate about delivering top-notch service and enjoy interacting with people, this role is perfect for you! Our Event Services Staff are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to patrons and visitors at The Monument by performing a variety of tasks, including ticket scanning, seating assistance, and guest engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a positive first impression by warmly greeting patrons upon their entrance to The Monument events. Address any questions or concerns they may have, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Efficiently scan electronic tickets from patrons as they arrive, ensuring a swift and organized entry process.
- Greet patrons with a smile and be able to direct them to their designated seats if necessary. Maintain an understanding of the facility layout to assist with efficient directions to various locations.
- Assist with security measures as needed, which may include monitoring crowd behavior, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and coordinating with security personnel to address any issues that arise during events.

Age Requirement: Must be age 18 or older.
Day and hours may vary but are primarily evenings and weekends. Amount of hours can vary greatly based on events that require staffing in the building. Some weeks will require nearly 40 hours while others will require zero. We encourage you to apply if you're able to accommodate this flexibility.
GREETER
We're seeking a friendly and outgoing Greeter to welcome our guests and create a memorable experience. As the first impression of our event center, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests feel valued and appreciated.
Position Details
The Monument Greeter provides excellent customer service to The Monument guests through a variety of duties. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly and professionally with peers and guests and employ proper radio etiquette.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the locking and unlocking of rooms and entrances of the facility.
- Greets guests upon entering The Monument facility and provides direction and assistance as needed.
- Interacts with the guests who enter the facility ensuring a safe, and welcoming atmosphere for all in the facility.
- Patrols the facility and grounds, observing any guest/non-guest activity, safety concerns, and/or violations of law, or applicable city ordinances.
- May serve as first point of contact and initiates 911 call when required, assisting in emergency responses and operations.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to influence the behavior of persons with diverse cultural backgrounds, language fluency difficulties, and/or limited capacity.
- All other duties as assigned.
Days and hours vary but include days, evenings, weekends, and/ or holidays.
Qualifications:
Age: Must be age 18 or older
Education and/ or Experience: No experience required. Law Enforcement and/ or Military background preferred.
